About the Role

As a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. With a focus on Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Java 8 or higher, J2EE, AWS, and Angular, you will contribute to innovative solutions that drive business success. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with other stakeholders and teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable software applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, and Angular to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AWS cloud-based solutions that enhance system performance.
Show good collaboration and communication skills.
Show ability to diagnose production issues and defects.

Requirements

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth system operations.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support software applications and processes.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure software applications are compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
Optimize application performance and scalability through effective coding practices and system architecture.
Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
7+ years of Core Java development experience, familiar with Java 8 or higher.
Experience with Java development and awareness of Java patterns.
Experience in Spring Boot and Microservices development.
Experience in Java, J2EE development.
Experience with NodeJS, Angular (preferable), HTML, and CSS for designing rich and responsive user interfaces.
Experience with AWS services (S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
Experience deploying applications on AWS.
Agile/Scrum development experience.
Good collaboration and communication skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies and perform POC on them.

Nice to Have

Experience with Java development and awareness of Java patterns.
Experience with NodeJS, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with AWS deployed applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
