Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Manager Agile Marketing will be responsible for both driving the strategy of and execution behind The Home Depot's audience marketing initiatives. This person will lead a team that designs audience-based marketing strategies, manage agency relationships, work with media partners to plan and execute audience-driven campaigns, create and curate content, and champion the evolution of audience-based marketing. The role involves utilizing data, analytics, and technology to develop personalized 1-1 experiences, designing and executing an annual audience marketing strategy, and exploring new technology integrations to enhance the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders (e.g., Customer Insights, Marketing Analytics, HD.com, Merchandising, Marketing, PR, & Social) to drive education and partnerships internally and externally.
  • Design and execute audience-marketing strategies for Agile campaigns, including developing hypotheses, data strategies, creative strategies, activation, and reporting activities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to scale Agile Marketing and integrate it into business priorities, sharing knowledge with stakeholders.
  • Manage external agency teams involved in campaign execution.
  • Ensure programs are delivered on-time and within budget, monitor effectiveness of Agile spend and resources, and analyze campaign impact to maximize results.
  • Build weekly status reports and prepare executive-level presentations as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Office.
  • Ability to understand the basics of technology related to social media, customer communications, online marketing, and eBusiness.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to think and respond quickly while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience.
  • Retail marketing experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of data and how to assess and analyze data sources and outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pragmatic, professional, and able to meet deadlines and establish clear priorities.
  • Motivated, hands-on professional with integrity and ethics.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle a heavy workload.
  • Interpersonal skills to relate well with all levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and key vendor partners.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience managing a major consumer brand.

Qualifications

  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
