About the Role

The Senior Manager of Commercial Analytics will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across the Breast & Skeletal Health Solutions Division. This individual will lead the analytics team in delivering actionable insights that optimize sales strategies, enhance customer engagement, and improve overall business performance. This person will act as a change agent within the Organization, to drive continuous improvement and establish best practices for the commercial organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare and medical sales industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the commercial analytics strategy to support business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the development of advanced analytics models to identify opportunities, risks, and trends in sales performance, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish dashboards to track sales performance, market share, and territory effectiveness.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of regular and ad hoc reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced data visualization tools to present insights in a clear and impactful manner.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop data-driven strategies for targeting high-value customers and optimizing account coverage.
  • Provide analytics support for sales forecasting, territory alignment, and incentive compensation plans.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of promotional activities, sales campaigns, and product launches, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Build team capabilities by identifying skill gaps and providing training opportunities to enhance technical and business acumen.
  • Manage project timelines and priorities to ensure timely delivery of insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security across analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with finance, marketing, and product teams to align analytics efforts with broader organizational goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the analytics team and external stakeholders, including vendors and consultants, as needed.
  • Deliver critical insights and recommendations to all stakeholders based on a deep understanding of the business processes and drivers.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Oracle, SQL, Python, R) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of the medical sales industry, including customer segmentation, market access, and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling, machine learning, or AI applications.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in managing analytics for multiple product lines or therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred in Business, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, or related field.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role.

Benefits & Perks

  • Annualized base salary range of $121,500 to $202,500 and bonus eligibility.
