Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of designers and writers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to deliver creative excellence.
  • Motivate designers to be innovative and progressive through design, typography, and creative exploration.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement that ensures development, growth, and career mentorship.
  • Ensure a unified and consistent brand identity by partnering closely with Merchandising & Marketing to support integrated messaging and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to develop, define, and execute innovation in data-driven and retail commerce trends.
  • Create relevant design and messaging that connects and converts the guest.
  • Ensure compliance with styling direction and lead pre-pros concepting for seasonal and promotional campaigns.
  • Build on and infuse relevancy per channel tactics and executions.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship throughout the creative and implementation process.
  • Manage high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and strategic alignment.
  • Work closely with Creative Operations to understand complex scheduling overlaps and foresee timing or workload conflicts.
  • Develop operational efficiencies by driving consumer behavior with world-class creative, utilizing analytics and exploring AI opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years designing physical experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in creative, advertising, fine arts, or related field.
  • Experience leading designers and writers.
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing creative process, styling direction, and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and software including the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Figma.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to bring design vision to reality.
  • Ability to drive innovation, both in technology and in process, including AI exploration.
  • Fundamental understanding of and desire to use data to evolve creative direction.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in retail or beauty industry preferred.
  • Experience with data-driven marketing and retail trends.
  • Experience in managing high-profile projects.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits.
  • Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
  • Salary range from $119,300 to $146,500 per year with potential for additional compensation through bonus plan.
