The role of Sr. Manager, Software Development Engineer involves designing and developing enterprise software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior members, and leading high-complexity development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements.
Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation.
Upgrade existing software applications and systems to improve functionality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Write and review high-quality code and perform unit and automation testing.
Develop and deploy application components, supporting unit testing and bug fixes.
Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and CI/CD processes.
Support applications, systems, and databases used for healthcare activities such as processing prescriptions and claims.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, and quality assurance.
Mentor junior team members and independently lead development of solutions with high complexity and risk.

Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Two (2) years of experience with Java/J2EE, Vorde/APIGEE, DataPower, Cassandra, Spark, and Kafka.
Experience with software development life cycle methods.
Experience with continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
Ability to troubleshoot system issues.
Experience contributing to projects that meet business and technical requirements.
Experience with production support, maintenance of information systems, quality assurance review, post-implementation support, and enhancements.

Qualifications

Educational background as specified in the requirements (Master's degree or equivalent).
