About the Role

Amazon Health Services (AHS) is on a mission to make it dramatically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy. The team uses design, service, and technology to provide the best possible customer experience and change the way people think about healthcare. The AHS Performance Marketing Team is seeking a talented, customer-obsessed and tenured people manager to own end-to-end planning, strategy, and execution of AHS Engagement Marketing for all Health Programs and Services businesses, including Amazon One Medical, One Medical Pay Per Visit, Amazon Pharmacy, and other future verticals. The role involves developing vision, goals, product roadmaps, and leading strategic projects around homepage and Prime marketing, as well as overseeing timely delivery of goals and key marketing metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own AHS Onsite and Prime Marketing Vision, Strategy and Execution to drive business goals.
  • Build foundational marketing tech and product requirements necessary to deliver from 0 to 1 in year 1 and scale from 1 to 100.
  • Build and own content marketing plans and oversee execution for each channel.
  • Develop a customer backward and insights-driven approach that informs the marketing budget for paid channels and work with finance and BI/DE to build an attribution model.
  • Build mechanisms that allow the team to learn from experimentation and educate leadership about tradeoffs and big bet areas.
  • Work closely with Creative and Design partners to develop and deliver the engagement charter.
  • Represent AHS Performance Marketing in key business reviews including operating planning and quarterly/monthly reviews.
  • Develop, report, and continually improve email channel performance metrics.
  • Hire, coach, and develop the current team of external hires.
  • Build and lead operational plans and 3-year vision documents.
  • Develop strategies to drive customer acquisition and engagement through behavioral analysis, research, retention programs, personalized content, and channel management.
  • Analyze regional performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with BI/DE teams to build dashboards and data tools for performance tracking.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions with regional stakeholders for new clinic openings and marketing plans.
  • Refine regional marketing playbooks and streamline local event execution processes.
  • Prepare data-rich reports for weekly business reviews to communicate the impact of marketing initiatives to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in integrated marketing, with at least 4+ years developing and executing regional or field marketing strategies for a multi-location business.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional marketing programs and collaborating with channel managers, product teams, and business leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to justify decisions and drive strategy.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • High proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight) to query data, analyze performance, and generate insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a relevant field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or master's degree in economics, marketing, finance, or a related, analytically rigorous field.
  • Ability to thrive in a culture of rigorous data analysis, experimentation, and measurement.
  • Deep expertise in experimental design and analysis (e.g., A/B testing, incrementality measurement).
  • Experience in the healthcare or wellness industry.
  • Proven track record of developing scalable lifecycle management and engagement programs.
  • History of defining and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive significant business growth.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
