The Business Insights, Strategy and Planning (BISP) team within the Product Portfolio & Device Management organization provides reporting and deep dive analysis to guide strategy and decision making. The Sr. Product Analytics Manager in the BISP team is a highly skilled individual contributor responsible for overseeing and producing reporting and analytical deep dives to support the organization. This role requires deep business understanding, attention to detail, strong leadership, communication skills, and strategic thinking to create effective solutions for business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally, identify new data sources to enhance business outcomes, and provide insights and guidance to leadership on trends and drivers behind results.
  • Assess the needs of the business, prioritize projects, and drive new reporting requirements to completion. Work cross-functionally to enable data architecture and solutions that meet analytics and reporting needs, ensuring delivery meets requirements.
  • Identify and communicate key insights to leadership based on reports and analysis.
  • Work cross-functionally to proactively identify and implement enhancements to reporting and analytics processes.
  • Regularly assume project or initiative responsibility.
  • Complete complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting, serving as a subject-matter guide.
  • Provide guidance to junior employees and serve as Manager's proxy in their absence.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience mining data and developing or designing reports using various reporting and analytics software with an aptitude for learning new tools.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and develop new solutions.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Superior organizational, problem-solving, and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong SQL skills using various interfaces and syntaxes (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Teradata SQL Assistant, Snowflake SQL Editor).
  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, graphing, data connections, macros, VBA).
  • Ability to perform data investigation, identify data sources, assess join feasibility, and resolve data issues based on business insights.
  • Strong business acumen and financial accounting knowledge to understand impact on P&L from reporting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.
  • Passion for learning, task-oriented, team player, and proactive in asking for help and brainstorming.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
  • Wireless industry background.

  • At least 18 years of age.
