About the Role

The Principal Architect role requires a seasoned professional with 12 to 16 years of experience in Azure technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Synapse Pyspark SQL and Azure Data Factory. This hybrid work model offers a dynamic environment to innovate and contribute to impactful projects during day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data solutions using Azure Synapse Pyspark SQL and Azure Data Factory to optimize data processing and storage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure Functions for seamless data operations and automation.
Develop strategies for efficient data management using Azure Data Lake Store ensuring data security and accessibility.
Utilize Azure Data Factory to orchestrate data workflows enhancing data movement and transformation processes.
Analyze business requirements to architect solutions that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
Provide technical expertise in Azure technologies to guide project teams in achieving optimal results.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Conduct regular assessments to identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization.
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and continuous learning among team members.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve data architecture and analytics capabilities.
Support the hybrid work model by leveraging digital tools to maintain productivity and collaboration.

Requirements

Experience in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Synapse, Pyspark SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
Strong understanding of data management, data security, and data governance policies.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Technical expertise in Azure cloud technologies.
Experience in monitoring system performance and implementing improvements.
