Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a comprehensive IT change communication strategy - from ideation to execution - that educates audiences about BT change enablement initiatives, including how each communications tactic will be reviewed/approved, delivered, and measured.
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change communications management activities, working with respective project leaders for implementation and oversight.
  • Work closely with the Program Operations team to apply an organizational change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes resulting from a new system implementation and business process.
  • Create high-quality consumable materials that simplify complex IT processes, tools, and systems, focusing on how these changes affect daily workflows and empower our teams, including Slack messages, email announcements, short-form video tutorials, intranet pages, and FAQs.
  • Work closely with IT product managers, enablement, and communications teams to drive a cohesive approach for change and adoption across platforms.
  • Create adoption metrics for new products, tools, and/or processes and track success of adoption efforts.
  • Support and contribute to the development of BT solutions and deliverables, leveraging expertise in IT change management, communications, and business transformation.
  • Act with urgency and organization to meet or exceed requirements and timeframes, especially in ambiguous environments.
  • Contribute to in-person and virtual collaboration sessions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of work experience in IT change enablement, strategy and communications within a fast-paced, dynamic environment in the tech industry.
  • 8+ years of experience with collaboration tools (G Suite, Zoom, Slack, and Smartsheet).
  • Deep experience in creating executive level presentations and storytelling.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, change management, or related work experience.
  • Certification in a formal change management methodology (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Critical thinker: Thinks things through carefully and critically before defining issues, analyzes opportunities and problems from a broad perspective, anticipates consequences, objections, and impacts before arriving at solutions.

  • Relationship building: Establishes and maintains productive relationships with internal partners built upon inclusivity and collaboration, demonstrates respect and accountability, and manages through differences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI integration into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, change management, or related work experience.
