About the Role

We're a professional services company at the intersection of marketing and technology — partnering with ambitious brands to solve complex challenges, accelerate growth, and drive performance. Our integrated teams combine strategic insight, creative execution, data fluency, and technical expertise. This role is a temporary position for about 4 months, focused on providing SEO leadership for advanced and large clients to drive organic growth and support digital marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO-focused strategies that align with clients' business goals
  • Conduct in-depth findability research, competitive analysis, and market trend analysis to inform strategy
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day point of contact for key client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and success of SEO engagements
  • Present SEO strategies, reports, and results that connect with broader business objectives in a clear and compelling manner
  • Oversee the execution of comprehensive SEO programs, including technical SEO, content optimization, link building, and adjacent services
  • Utilize advanced SEO tools and analytics platforms to monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and growth, and implement changes to improve SEO engagements
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive SEO, SERP, and discoverability reports with performance metrics and actionable insights
  • Use data-driven analysis to measure success and inform future strategies
  • Mentor and guide junior SEO professionals, fostering continuous learning and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive digital marketing strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and new technologies
  • Create demand for services through developing industry POVs and thought leadership papers
  • Craft compelling client case studies to support marketing efforts

Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience working in SEO for agencies or large brands
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, information technology, or related field (strongly preferred)
  • Extensive understanding of SEO principles, best practices, and industry trends
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from data and take action
  • Results-driven with strong business acumen
  • Strong web analytics experience across platforms like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Fundamental understanding of technical SEO, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web design technologies
  • Strong storytelling and presentation capabilities
  • Ability to pivot quickly and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
  • Highly organized with excellent analytical, time management, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical and writing skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude

  • Experience with proprietary SEO tools
  • Experience creating industry POVs and thought leadership papers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
