Sr. Software Engineer - Cloud Environment (Multiple openings) in Washington, District of Columbia.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products focused on cloud environment products.
• Perform cloud environment development, migration, and maintenance using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Design cloud application architecture for application teams.
• Develop and manage cloud billing details for application teams.
• Create Infrastructure-as-a-code pipelines to deploy cloud infrastructure using terraform and yaml.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for application teams using Gitlab and Ansible.
• Migrate all applications in the bank to the cloud platform and educate application teams about it.
• Design, develop, and maintain software to support application migration using Java and .NET.
• Write automation scripts to accelerate the migration process.
• Develop quality code and tests for the code.
• Develop Java-based full stack applications with Oracle health products.
• Utilize backend technologies including Firebase, ExpressJS, and Stripe Payment.
• Develop web applications using React and ExpressJS and develop native mobile applications using React Native.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 18 months of experience designing cloud application architecture.
• 18 months of experience developing Java-based full stack applications with Oracle health products.
• 18 months of experience utilizing backend technologies including Firebase, ExpressJS, and Stripe Payment.
• 18 months of experience developing web applications using React and ExpressJS and developing native mobile applications using React Native.
• 18 months of experience in cloud environment development, migration, and maintenance using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• 18 months of experience developing CI/CD pipelines for application teams using Gitlab and Ansible.

Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like terraform and yaml.
• Experience with cloud billing management.
• Experience with application architecture design for cloud environments.
• Experience with application migration and education of application teams.
