Positions are located in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York with a hybrid work model. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining data and analytics engineering solutions for Paze, utilizing software tools, frameworks, and best practices in secure software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains data engineering solutions for batch and stream processing.
  • Develops advanced analytic solutions using BI and ML tools.
  • Builds infrastructure components required for Data and Analytics.
  • Provides continuous integration and deployment of data solutions.
  • Develops and implements tests to ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of applications.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots complex production issues for Support and Operations teams.
  • Collaborates with product managers, designers, and engineering groups to conceptualize and build new features.
  • Supports the company's risk management efforts and maintains the confidentiality and integrity of systems and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering or related roles.
  • At least 2 years' experience in developing Data Warehouse, Big Data platforms, real-time and batch processing, and data standards.
  • Ability to influence and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and secure coding.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Lean methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US National.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with large-scale Cloud Data Lake/Warehouse transformation.
  • AWS Cloud experience in Streaming and Batch Data Management.
  • Experience with Redshift or other large warehouse management systems.
  • Advanced SQL and analytics skills.
  • Proficiency with BI tools like Tableau or Quicksight.
  • Knowledge of Data Governance and Quality Controls.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, PySpark, and R.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting systems like AppDynamics or Splunk.
  • AWS certification in Solution Architecture or Analytics.
  • FinTech industry experience.

Qualifications

  • Educational background or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in software engineering and data platform development.
