Key Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
Creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs
Performs analysis on failures, proposes design changes, and encourages operational improvements
Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
Takes feedback from code review and applies changes to meet standards
Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures
Ensures all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices
Embeds software reliability engineering standards into development processes
Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before escalation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Five to six years of relevant experience
Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles
Strong experience in API Gateways: Apigee, Service Mesh ISTIO
Proficiency in using Logging, Alerting Tools: Datadog, Splunk, ELK
Hands on in Programming Languages: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot
Web technologies experience: SOAP, REST, XSD, JSON, XML, Apollo GraphQL
Experience in Data Management / Event Streaming: Postgres, DB2, SQL Server, Kafka, NOSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, MSK
Operating System: Linux, Windows, zOS
Information Security Vulnerability Management: Black Duck, Twistlock/PRISMA, Fortify
DevSecOps CICD Pipelines: Cloudbees Jenkins, Rancher
Source Code Management: Gitlab
Cloud experience: Azure, Microservices, Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
Experience with Agile Tools: JIRA, JIRA Align, JIRA Dragonboat, Confluence
Familiarity with AI Integration tools: Gitlab CoPilot, Microsoft CoPilot
