About the Role

Join the Solutions Engineering Leadership team for Americas Service Provider at Cisco Systems, Inc. as a Sr. Solutions Engineering Manager. This role involves leading a team of engineers to deliver innovative solutions for one of Cisco's largest and most influential Service Providers, shaping the future of their digital evolution through strategic leadership, collaboration, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a premier team of engineers and elevate their performance.
  • Drive innovative solutions that redefine how Service Providers operate.
  • Collaborate with senior sales and business unit leadership and industry visionaries.
  • Address sophisticated challenges and turn them into dynamic outcomes.
  • Develop and execute bold technical strategies aligned with customer goals and business outcomes.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to identify growth opportunities, allocate resources, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Build and strengthen relationships across Cisco, partners, and the Service Provider ecosystem.
  • Apply technical expertise to connect customer needs with Cisco's solutions.
  • Build a culture of proactive high performance, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical sales experience in the Service Provider space.
  • Validated leadership in solutions engineering, with experience in driving sales strategy and leading technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of the Service Provider industry landscape, including trends and technologies.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Strong experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

Nice to Have

  • Expert knowledge of networking, emerging tech, and the competitive landscape.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc.
  • Experience driving cross-functional projects and elevating customer experience.
  • A natural relationship builder and communicator who leads with empathy.

Qualifications

  • Industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc.) are a major plus.
