About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute complex audit testing with a focus on data risk using advanced analytics tools such as Python and SQL.
  • Perform testing in a timely manner, ensuring all audit quality and client relation standards are met.
  • Support less experienced team members in audit activities.
  • Develop a solid understanding of IT and business processes related to data risk.
  • Design, develop, and execute data-driven audit tests over various risk areas.
  • Identify issues, assess risk, and present results clearly and concisely.
  • Conduct post-audit follow-up to evaluate corrective actions taken by management.
  • Document audit testing and follow-up tasks according to audit standards.
  • Evaluate control effectiveness through data analytics-driven tests.
  • Attend professional training provided by the company.
  • Provide consistent quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Data Science, Data Analysis, Operational Research, Decision Management, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data mining or advanced analytics applied to large-scale data projects.
  • Experience with advanced statistical packages and software.
  • Experience building and applying machine learning or predictive modeling in real-world use cases.
  • Strong modeling and data manipulation skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, SAS, or R.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex statistical theories to a varied audience.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Technical aptitude with problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Established work history or demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant quantitative field.
  • Master's Degree in Data Science, Data Analysis, Operational Research, or Decision Management is preferred.
