Staff Product Manager - Android Devices

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the technology roadmap, certification requirements and test execution for DISH's OEM device portfolio, including launching Android products and cellular modules, working closely with the Device Certification team, and across organizations.
• Be program lead for Android products, overseeing schedules, requirements compliance and waivers, device certification, value proposition alignment, and lifecycle management.
• Work cross-functionally to execute and ensure the success of Android devices and cellular modules product development roadmap and strategy.
• Manage relationships with ODMs and OEMs, communicating progress on product development and certification activities between DISH and ODMs/OEMs.
• Define scope and budget for technology trial activities and negotiate support with Android and cellular module OEMs as needed.
• Facilitate product feature lockdown, device technology, and network feature integration requirements for Android and cellular module products.
• Influence internal stakeholders and communicate effectively at the executive level.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 6 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in a related role.
• 6 years of experience with new product planning and development.
• Experience in Android product development and device launch.
• Knowledge of mobile device certification processes and mobile product development management for Android-based smartphones, tablets, and wearables.
• Experience with product feature alignment with network feature deployment, test and trial management.
• Proficiency in Jira, Plasma, and Tableau.

• Compensation: $166,400.00 per year.
