About the Role

This individual leads, plans, synthesizes ambiguous or conflicting requirements and performs the complex responsibility of developing, defining, and executing plans of record for both pre-Silicon and post-Silicon validation of internally designed devices. The role involves managing schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks, while interfacing with internal and external stakeholders across engineering functions. The position requires monitoring program progress, driving alignment, and ensuring on-time delivery of multiple medium-sized programs related to validation processes for digital and analog IC designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and develop plans of record for pre-Silicon and post-Silicon validation of internally designed devices, including schedules, budgets, resources, and risks.
  • Monitor and drive programs from initiation through delivery, interfacing with software and hardware engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple medium-sized programs, coordinating requirements for software teams based on IC designs of subsystems.
  • Develop and manage the execution of the program Plan of Record, ensuring on time, on budget, and within scope delivery.
  • Establish key program metrics, monitor deviations, and manage teams to ensure program success.
  • Provide technical documentation and validation plans to Test Engineers.
  • Identify and secure resources to align team efforts with program demands.
  • Drive teams to identify program issues and risks, creating and maintaining risk mitigation plans.
  • Promote program vision and objectives within the team, ensuring objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Apply best practices across engineering teams and identify process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with three (3) years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree in the same fields with seven (7) years of progressive related experience.
  • Experience in developing, defining, and executing validation plans for complex hardware/software systems.
  • Ability to synthesize ambiguous requirements and develop clear plans.
  • Strong program management skills including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience working with hardware and software engineering teams on validation and benchmarking.
  • Knowledge of validation processes for digital and analog IC designs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with program management tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with silicon validation and testing tools.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment.

  • Educational qualifications as specified in the requirements (Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant fields).
