About the Role

The Tech Strategic Programs organization at Intuit delivers strategic initiatives that transform and optimize the company's technology ecosystem to accelerate outcomes for customers. The team collaborates with senior leaders across the company, focusing on strategic planning, operating rhythm, executive narratives, workforce programs, and high-priority growth and customer impact projects. The role of the Staff Program Manager involves working alongside senior leaders from People & Places and Technology to enhance the technical promotion process, ensuring consistency, simplicity, and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect strategy to execution by understanding organizational and company strategy, facilitating strategy creation, and driving execution at the project, program, and process levels.
  • Prioritize work across multiple organizations or large functions to accelerate delivery of impactful initiatives.
  • Identify decision points and tradeoffs, drive discussions, and provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Define program outcomes, create program frameworks, build end-to-end delivery plans, and establish governance models.
  • Lead workstream drivers to meet success measures and deliver business outcomes.
  • Develop and drive operating rhythms at various levels to set strategy, monitor performance, and inspire accountability.
  • Partner across teams to identify risks and dependencies, escalate blockers, and determine optimal paths to resolution.
  • Communicate program progress clearly, leveraging data and insights to inform decisions and next steps.
  • Contribute to the development of new frameworks, tools, and best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish credibility as a change leader, develop change management plans, and execute them effectively.
  • Engage stakeholders proactively, communicate compelling data-backed cases for change, and build trust.
  • Navigate new program areas rapidly, develop end-to-end blueprints for programs, and lead talent management discussions related to promotion processes.
  • Lead cross-functional program planning and execution, build trusted relationships with sponsors and directors, and drive strategic outcomes with velocity.
  • Identify areas for improvement across programs and leverage GenAI tools and design thinking to accelerate outcomes and gather customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates in-depth understanding of organizational and company strategy, business/operating models, and performance drivers.
  • Experience in prioritizing work across multiple organizations or large functions to deliver impactful results.
  • Ability to identify decision points, drive tradeoff discussions, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Proven experience in defining program outcomes, creating frameworks, and establishing governance models.
  • Strong skills in developing operating rhythms, monitoring performance, and inspiring teams.
  • Ability to identify risks and dependencies, escalate blockers, and determine solutions quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly convey program progress and insights.
  • Experience in leading change initiatives, developing change management plans, and executing them.
  • Deep talent management knowledge, especially related to promotion processes and cycle discussions.
  • Ability to rapidly navigate new program areas, develop blueprints, and lead operational excellence.
  • Experience in cross-functional program management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools like GenAI and applying design thinking for process improvements.

  • Experience with GenAI tools and their strategic application.
  • Background in design thinking methodologies.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Management or talent management experience, especially in technical promotion processes.
  • Senior-level experience in program or project management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
