The role of Staff Software Development Engineer in Woonsocket, RI involves designing and developing software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading high-complexity development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements.
Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation.
Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Write and review high-quality code and perform unit and automation testing.
Develop and deploy application components, support unit testing and bug fixes.
Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and CI/CD processes.
Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and healthcare activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, and quality assurance.
Mentor junior team members and independently lead development of solutions with high complexity and risk.

Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Two (2) years of experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Apollo GraphQL, FinOps.
Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework 4.5/4.0/3.5, ASP.NET MVC 5.0/4.0.
Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, DevOps practices.
Proficiency with XML, JSON, HTML, CSS.
Experience with Agile methodologies and SAFe Software Development Principles.
Familiarity with frameworks such as Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
Experience with REST, SOAP, Web Service APIs.
Experience with Rally, MySQL, SQL, SSIS.
Experience managing the software development lifecycle.
Providing domain support for healthcare or retail pharmacy organizations.

Experience leading development projects independently.
Experience working in healthcare or retail pharmacy domains.

Qualifications

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in relevant field.
Two (2) years of professional experience in related roles.
