About the Role

The Mid-Market Strategic Account Executive role at Rentokil involves retaining and growing an assigned account portfolio by selling unserviced sites and introducing products, services, and solutions to meet customer business objectives. The position focuses on maximizing company services across the customer's footprint through collaboration with branch structures and customers, managing a portfolio of over $3 million with a growth target of $500,000 annually, and profitably negotiating contract renewals with a goal of 70% current contracts renewed each year. Key Responsibilities

  • Grow customer relationships by leveraging LAMP concepts to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement customized business plans to identify growth opportunities and harvest business through strategic planning.
  • Focus on profitability by using tools to measure profit and developing targeted strategies for renewal negotiations and customer discussions.
  • Retain existing customer base by proactively negotiating renewals and extensions of agreements.
  • Maintain relationship wellness through ongoing risk assessments, customer satisfaction measurements, and developing action plans to address customer concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in large account management, sales, or operations.
  • Ability to leverage existing data and business intelligence to develop targeted growth plans.
  • Experience using business reviews or strategic channels to discuss partnership success and growth opportunities.
  • Proficiency in documenting contract details, contacts, risk assessments, and sales opportunities in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Miller Heiman (LAMP) methodologies to assess and develop plans for customer relationship growth.
  • Ability to use profitability measurement tools to assess and develop strategies for renewal and profitability improvement.
  • Skill in using relationship wellness tools, including risk assessments and customer satisfaction measurements, to proactively address potential issues.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Miller Heiman (LAMP) methodologies.
  • Strong strategic planning and negotiation skills.

Qualifications
