The role involves developing and overseeing the marketing strategy within the Slip Ring & Marine (SRM) Division, working closely with division leadership and group marketing to identify priorities, develop plans, and support growth and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of Divisional leadership team; work with Divisional leadership to develop and implement overall Divisional strategy, including providing input and guidance in strategic planning.
  • Lead all facets relating to strategic marketing, including monitoring and analyzing market, customer, technology, and competitor trends; ensure strategies are aligned with these trends and principles.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new growth opportunities based on market and customer insights; collaborate with engineering and product management to define and develop solution concepts.
  • Engage in direct-with-customer business development discussions to investigate and validate customer needs and map these to potential growth opportunities.
  • Play a key role in launching new products/solutions to the market; define and educate sales and customers about Moog's differentiation and value proposition.
  • Work closely with central marketing functions to design commercialization and go-to-market campaigns supporting division priorities.
  • Identify, investigate, and evaluate potential acquisition and partnership opportunities; maintain a pipeline and develop relationships with key contacts.
  • Collaborate with Group-level marketing resources and SMBPs to share insights, identify best practices, and leverage organizational needs for marketing talent and capabilities.
  • Promote a best practice approach to people management, acting as coach and role model, and support a diverse and inclusive culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing or a related function, with previous leadership and/or people management experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand basic technical aspects of products and customer applications; engineering experience or proficiency preferred.
  • Strong collaborative approach and mindset; ability to work supportively with P&L owners and GMs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze large data sets and synthesize actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%, including international travel.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a leadership role managing teams.
  • Experience with Voice of Customer (VoC), Quality Function Deployment (QFD), or similar tools.
  • Experience in strategic planning and market analysis.

Qualifications
