About the Role

The Strategic Partner Development Lead for Search at Google is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships that align with Google's travel-related products and business objectives. This role involves working closely with partners, internal teams, and stakeholders to drive growth, negotiate agreements, and ensure partnerships deliver value across Google's ecosystem, including products like YouTube, Google TV, and Commerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize potential partners that align with real world journeys (Travel) product and business objectives.
  • Cultivate and grow relationships as trusted advisors and advocate for our partners.
  • Oversee programs that efficiently manage a scaled partner ecosystem with thousands of partners, ranging from Google's most complex, cross-product relationships to industry ecosystem suppliers and technology intermediaries in travel distribution.
  • Lead negotiations for a variety of partnership agreements, from initial outreach to agreement closure.
  • Define commercial terms and work with Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to finalize agreements.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineers, and Business teams to ensure partnerships are delivering on their intended value.
  • Communicate partner feedback and market insights to internal teams to help inform strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, alliances, or similar roles in the Technology or Travel industries.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience running or managing program incentives.
  • Experience in negotiating and closing partnership agreements.
  • Experience with the travel ecosystem (e.g., Online Travel Agencies, airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel technology providers).

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, partnerships, alliances or similar roles in relevant industries.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range of $134,000-$196,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
