Key Responsibilities

  • Support discovery and innovation by creating client personas and evaluating competitors
  • Assist in new product planning activities by deriving forecasts, composing product requirements and establishing future metrics
  • Display a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
  • Support new product introduction by creating the risk analysis
  • Track customer satisfaction, evaluate metrics and KPIs, gauge channel performance, conduct post product launch audits
  • Provide sales support through RFP response and review
  • Monitor capital and expenses and rate card alignment across regions
  • As subject area expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level
  • Balance operational execution with strategic development of business function activities

Requirements

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in constructing/overseeing logical and conclusive presentations
  • Solid understanding or knowledge of 2-4+ Northern Trust products or business areas within an umbrella, mastery of 1-2+ and understanding of client needs and product development impact
  • Good in building key relationships, influencing and negotiating with clients, partners and leaders across multiple disciplines
  • Organizational skills to support the Business Unit's goals, resources, and staff development
  • Program or project management experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of business strategy development for long-term planning and profitability management
  • Strong analytical and business management skills with ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans
