About the Role

The Office of Student Engagement at Stonehill College is seeking a motivated student to serve as the Student Social Media & Marketing Intern for the spring semester. The intern will work up to 8 hours a week, developing and implementing initiatives to engage the student community, with some flexibility outside standard hours. The role involves creating digital and print materials, managing social media presence, and collaborating with student organizations to promote events and activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing and creating an active social media presence for @stonehillactivities on Instagram
Create and design print and digital materials
Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
Retouch and manipulate images
Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
Create signage, circulars, mock ups, email campaigns, online promotion, etc.
Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
Collaborate with OSE and SGA Clubs & Orgs to develop design concepts
Receive feedback from the OSE supervisor and make necessary changes

Requirements

Marketing/Graphic Design majors preferred or strong knowledge base of design software
Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
Experience with InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
