Student Worker - Sagan ARC Social Media Assis

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Sagan ARC's social media accounts, including Instagram and Snapchat.
• Create and curate content relevant to academic support, learning strategies, and promoting ARC services to the OWU student population.
• Schedule and post content regularly, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Promote ARC events, resources, and services through social media channels.
• Collaborate with ARC staff to gather content ideas and information for social media posts.
• Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the ARC's brand and messaging.
• Assist with the beginning of the semester messaging to students.
• Assist with end of semester closing of the office and messaging to students over the break.
• Research any fun themed days/holidays that can be used in regular messaging.
• Assist with the planning and messaging of Sagan ARC events geared towards students.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student at OWU.
• Strong knowledge of various social media platforms and their functionalities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging social media content.
• Knowledge or interest in academic support services and student engagement is desirable.
