About the Role

Come join our family at In-N-Out Burger! The Support Facilities Development Project Manager I supports the planning, design, entitlement, construction, and turnover of non-store real estate projects, including warehouses, distribution centers, corporate offices, and other support properties. Reporting to the Support Facilities Development Department Manager, this role ensures projects align with internal operational needs and long-term company objectives. A critical responsibility of this role is internal coordination working with Operations, Supply Chain, IT Facilities, Physical Security, and other internal departments to understand their specific needs and ensure projects are designed accordingly. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, supporting the broader Support Facilities Development team. Please note that this is a full-time in-office position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, IT Facilities, Physical Security, and other internal departments to assess requirements and ensure facility designs align with business needs.
  • Assist in feasibility studies, financial analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Support entitlement approvals, zoning compliance, and regulatory processes.
  • Assist architects and engineers in ensuring plans align with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Support budget tracking, process invoices, and support financial reporting.
  • Assist in RFP preparation, bid review, and procurement processes.
  • Monitor construction progress, assist with site walks, and support closeout.
  • Maintain communication with internal/external partners and track project updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Business or related field.
  • 3-5 years Project Management experience.
  • 3-5 years Experience in entitlement, permitting, and site development.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Possesses the ability to quickly learn and understand the fundamentals of In-N-Out's Supply Chain infrastructure & applications.

Nice to Have

  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, AutoCAD or other design software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Business or related field.
