About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of consultants, providing day-to-day management, technical mentorship, and career guidance.
• Partner with Project Management, peers, and Directors on project staffing and planning.
• Assess skill sets using provided tools or direct evaluation, and develop plans to build and extend skills in collaboration with the Director.
• Conduct project reviews and partner with peer reviewers to identify and address employee training gaps.
• Identify at-risk employees and develop retention plans with your Director and HR.
• Recruit, retain, and develop team members.
• Provide strategic accessibility consulting to drive improved accessibility programs.
• Offer technical and accessibility consulting, including testing, to support project delivery and team coaching.
• Support customers' ideation and development of accessibility tools.
• Share insights from personal experience to inform organizational planning and team growth.
• Work with team members to uncover and elevate opportunities for additional business and at-risk projects.
• Collaborate with peers and provide feedback to leadership on testing and training procedures.
• Partner with leadership peers to develop solutions.
• Implement tools to improve team efficiency and productivity.
• Act as an advocate for customers and the mission of accessibility for all.
• Mentor and motivate team members, emphasizing the importance of individual and team success.
• Participate in the global accessibility community through social media and awareness efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• 2 years of experience in consulting.
• 1 year of experience with digital accessibility, front-end development, and quality assurance testing.
• 6 months of experience in team mentorship or management.
• Ability to work remotely, with a 40 hours/week schedule.
