Temp Director, Social and Content

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and seasonal social strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
• Lead creation of platform-first content, balancing brand storytelling with performance goals.
• Establish and manage an in-house content studio and external creator/agency partnerships.
• Oversee community management strategy and influencer partnerships to strengthen engagement.
• Analyze content performance, applying insights to continuously improve strategy.
• Partner cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and paid media teams for integrated execution.

Requirements

• 7-10 years' experience in social strategy and content marketing within beauty or lifestyle.
• Proven success building relevance and engagement for established or high-growth brands.
• Strong knowledge of organic + paid social, influencer marketing, and trend-driven content.
• Hands-on experience directing creative production for social-first campaigns.
• Leadership experience managing teams, agencies, and budgets.
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in tools such as Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, and Tribe Dynamics.

Nice to Have

• Experience in managing media, arts or design teams.
• Experience with marketing campaign budget management.
