About the Role

The Territory Business Manager (TBM) at Rigel is responsible for promoting Tavalisse® (Fostamatinib) in chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (cITP), REZLIDHIA® (Olutasidenib) in relapsed or refractory mIDH1 Acute Myeloid Leukemia (R/R mIDH1 AML), and Gavreto® (Pralsetinib) in (RET) fusion-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The role involves maximizing new patient starts through focused execution, cross-functional collaboration, and positively impacting patients' lives. The TBM serves as an expert on patient clinical profiles, hematology/oncology business, access & reimbursement, and acts as the “quarterback” for the broader field team, building strategic plans to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for meeting/exceeding territory sales goals by influencing Key Thought Leaders and prescribers in the assigned territory.
  • Establishing effective sales interactions with cITP prescribers and fostering trusted relationships with patient care team members for Tavalisse.
  • Gaining access and ensuring effective sales interactions with AML healthcare providers, including leukemia specialists and community healthcare providers for REZLIDHIA.
  • Working collaboratively with Institutional Business Managers to understand referral patterns between academic and community customers.
  • Identifying medical oncologists treating NSCLC and building productive, trusted relationships with them and their care teams for Gavreto.
  • Developing comprehensive strategic business plans and executing them through key accounts and customers to serve patient needs.
  • Demonstrating product & disease state expertise, as well as product access/reimbursement knowledge.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, sharing customer insights, and responding resourcefully to customer needs.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent with 0-4 years of experience in rare disease, specialty pharmacy, oncology/hematology sales preferred but not required.
  • Excellent account management skills and established relationships with target physicians preferred but not required.
  • Proven entrepreneurial skills and ability to thrive as a territory business owner.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
  • Willingness to be vaccinated against COVID-19 (subject to exemptions).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in rare disease, specialty pharmacy, oncology/hematology sales.
  • Established relationships with target physicians in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent degree.

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary Range $180,000 - $220,000.
