Travel Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitate the implementation of new tools such as SAP Concur.
• Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data through business information exchanges.
• Apply analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis.
• Analyze and process data while contributing to the development of models and report templates and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
• Recommend and implement appropriate performance measures to be produced, including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
• Provide guidance to fellow team members.
• Provide business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis for the DoD.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365 programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
• 2+ years of experience with federal government-funded travel management reviewing or auditing costs for compliance.
• Experience with government contracting and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of SAP Concur, managing end-to-end travel processes, and DoD travel regulations and policies such as JTR, FTR, FAR, and DSSR.
• Ability to work independently, taking initiative with auditing and understanding travel allowances, exceptions, and compliance.
• Ability to analyze travel data to ensure compliance, guide travelers, generate reports, and support travel document processing.
• Ability to manage and process travel and direct cost expense reports in SAP Concur in a timely manner.
• Ability to serve as a backup to travel analysts for processing travel authorizations and trip reports in the DCAA-approved system.
• Secret security clearance.
• Associate's degree.
