Job Description

About the Role

The Travel Retail Sales Director is responsible for strategy and execution to expand the presence of professional hair care brands across airport, cruise, and border duty-free and travel retail channels. The role involves developing business cases, driving growth through partnerships and promotions, managing key accounts, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure brand excellence and operational efficiency in the travel retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy and execution for our professional hair care brands to expand presence across airport, cruise, and border duty-free and travel retail channels.
  • Develop compelling business case including GTM and marketing strategy.
  • Drive commercial growth through strong partnerships, retail space planning, and high impact promotions.
  • Manage key accounts including duty-free operators, distributors, and airport authorities.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and ROI driven decision making in partnership with VP.
  • Ensure brand excellence across assortments, messaging, and execution in all travel retail channels.
  • Leverage market insights from beauty, hair care, and global travel retail trends to guide strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and regulatory teams to deliver seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in retail travel, preferably in the beauty or personal care sector.
  • Proven track record in international business development, strategic account management, and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong experience in P&L ownership and strategic account management.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • 50% travel.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
