UI Architect - Onsite

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement scalable, modular, and maintainable front-end architectures.
• Establish best practices for component-based architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Ensure seamless integration of UI components with backend services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, promoting code quality and architectural excellence.
• Work closely with product owners, UX designers, product management, and Human Factors Engineering to ensure the product exceeds usability and functional design requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of software development experience in Java with 5+ years of recent experience working with Angular as a Senior Engineer/Architect or similar role.
• Proven experience in developing complex web applications using Angular 14+, with proficiency in TypeScript, Angular components, modules, services, RxJS, NgRx, state management, lazy loading, and dynamic components.
• In-depth knowledge of Angular material components, themes, configurations, and experience in customizing themes.
• Proficiency in front-end web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in software development in regulated industries such as medical devices.

• Educational background in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Significant experience in software development, particularly with Angular and Java.
