About the Role

Genesis10 is seeking a UX/UI Designer for a large strategic financial project within their mortgage loan client in McLean, VA. The role focuses on enhancing enterprise-level application user interfaces, working closely with the financial engineering team to create intuitive, user-friendly designs, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure high-quality user experiences. This is a 6-month+ contract position requiring 5 days onsite, with experience in Figma and React 18 preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design user-friendly, responsive and visually appealing interface for enterprise level financial application.
Create wireframes, prototypes and high-quality UI design using Figma.
Enhance the existing design system to improve user experience.
Work closely with UI developers to ensure seamless implementation of UX/UI design.
Conduct user research, usability testing and analyze feedback to improve design decisions.
Collaborate with product owner, developers and stakeholders to understand end-user needs.
Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and technologies.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in UX/UI design in a professional environment.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD or similar design tools.
Practical knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, SASS.
Practical knowledge and understanding of modern UI libraries such as Material-UI.
A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work on enterprise applications.

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree, Associate degree in Graphic design, User Experience design, Human-Computer Interaction or similar (not required).
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in enterprise application design.
