About the Role

As the US Associate Director EGFR Lung Cancer at AstraZeneca, you'll be part of a dynamic team focused on innovating and transforming patient care in oncology. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in solidifying AstraZeneca's leadership in the EGFR landscape, leading commercial launch plans for TAGRISSO, and supporting strategic marketing initiatives in a highly competitive environment. The role involves working on both pre-launch and post-launch activities, collaborating across teams, and contributing to the future of lung cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Strategic Director and Marketing Operations Director on LRR plans and Day 1 activities, including marketing assets selection, training content, and launch meetings coordination.
  • Set, drive, and communicate the segment strategic framework to support marketing campaigns and core marketing asset development with key messages based on science and market research, including a 'Digital First' mindset.
  • Develop and implement robust tactical execution for the segment across channels (omnichannel).
  • Analyze indication performance and develop follow-up actions in alignment with Brand Directors.
  • Identify and communicate segment training needs and partner with the Training Department to support sales force needs.
  • Collaborate with other marketing teams to share best practices, boost innovation, and foster partnership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in scientific or business discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in Oncology.
  • Experience in market positions, including leading agency partners to deliver high-impact marketing initiatives.
  • In-line EGFR US Oncology brand marketing experience or Global Oncology / Specialty Care marketing experience.
  • Pre-launch and post-launch experience.
  • Demonstrate high learning agility and adaptability to change in rapidly evolving environments.
  • Effective cross-functional project team leadership and influencing skills.
  • Strong track record of performance and positive leadership behaviors.

Nice to Have

  • Lung Cancer and EGFR marketing experience (NPP, Peer to Peer, HCP Marketing).

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • Annual base pay ranging from $180,000 to $270,000, with overtime pay for non-exempt employees.
