About the Role

The US Rater role at TELUS Digital involves analyzing and providing feedback on texts, pages, images, and other types of information for top search engines. The position aims to improve the relevance and quality of search results, enhancing the overall user experience for millions of search engine users. This is a part-time, flexible, remote opportunity suitable for individuals who are tech-savvy, dynamic, and eager to contribute to AI and search engine optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Analyzing and providing feedback on texts, pages, images, and other types of information for search engines.
Reviewing and rating search results for relevance and quality to help improve user experience.
Using online tools to perform assessments and provide feedback on search content.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills in English.
Residency in the United States for the last 3 consecutive years.
Familiarity with current and historical US business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs.
Active use of Gmail, Google+, and other social media platforms.
Experience in navigating and interacting with web content using browsers.
Daily access to broadband internet, a smartphone (Android 5.0, iOS 14 or higher), and a personal computer.
Willingness to pass a language assessment, a qualification exam, and ID verification.

Nice to Have

Passion for social media and local culture.
Interest in supporting machine learning models and AI development.

Qualifications

No previous professional experience required, but must pass assessment and qualification exams.
