Key Responsibilities

  • Develop product, cross-product, and application roadmaps including software and hardware devices.
  • Collaborate with product teams across business units to align on release cadences and roadmap prioritization.
  • Drive portfolio growth strategy incorporating innovation to address market needs and opportunities.
  • Research and understand key market/customer trends and competitor strategies.
  • Develop strategic business plans and financial models to capitalize on market needs and opportunities.
  • Drive clinical research requirements to support the connectivity value proposition and product launch activities.
  • Communicate the strategy and secure consensus from customers, key industry influencers, and executive leadership.
  • Drive alignment with regional marketing and business partners on connectivity market needs, go-to-market strategies, and pricing.
  • Develop and track key business performance indicators to identify necessary countermeasures to achieve business/market goals.
  • Partner on technology deployment for connectivity product validation requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deploy new go-to-market strategies including pricing, quote to cash, training, and support.
  • Collaborate with global commercial and service teams to drive market adoption of connected IT solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Medicine, Science, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in upstream marketing, product management, or similar; or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior product management experience for a device connectivity portfolio (hardware and software) preferred.
  • Experience developing products for the operating room and working on integration and connected products in the OR preferred.
  • Leadership experience and indirect team management without authority.
  • Highly organized, initiative-taker capable of leading and collaborating effectively across the organization.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Persuasive communication skills in the absence of organizational authority.
  • Ability to work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to facilitate large group meetings successfully.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15%.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in upstream marketing, product management, or similar roles.
  • Experience with device connectivity portfolios, including hardware and software.
  • Experience working on products for the operating room and integration of connected products in clinical settings.
  • Leadership experience and ability to influence without direct authority.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Relevant experience as specified in requirements.
