About the Role

The Vice President, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis II is responsible for overseeing multiple technical products or a significant product line within the organization. The role involves developing long-term strategies, collaborating across teams, and mentoring product managers. The position requires a strong technical background in asset-backed securities and bond mathematics, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions and ensuring alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing multiple technical products or a significant technical product line.
  • Developing long-term technical product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Collaborating across technical product management teams to ensure alignment and execution of technical product strategy.
  • Using subject matter expertise and experience to direct and mentor a team of product managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent 6+ years of work experience in asset-backed securities (RMBS, ABS, RESEC, CMBS, MILN, ETC.).
  • Knowledge in Bond Mathematics.
  • Experience coding in Python.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical/engineering role and SME on the technology.
  • Proven experience as a technical product manager (5+ years).
  • Strong technical experience with the ability to communicate and present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders/audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical related field, typically Engineering or CS degree, or equivalent work experience required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Track record of successful product launches.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
