About the Role

The Vice President, Data Scientist I role involves developing and deploying advanced AI and machine learning solutions within a fast-paced environment, leveraging expertise in Python, cloud deployments, and AI agent architecture. The position requires strong technical skills and experience in building large language models and generative AI tools, with a focus on solving complex data problems and creating cross-functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy AI and machine learning solutions, including LLM and GenAI tools, using Python and related technologies.
Build and manage cloud-based deployments of containers, ensuring scalable and reliable solutions.
Design and implement AI agent architectures, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning of language models.
Follow Agile and test-driven development practices to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Manage data using scripting and SQL, and oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Requirements

Minimum 5-8 years of related software coding experience.
Strong hands-on experience and knowledge in Python programming and service-oriented architecture.
Experience in building and deploying code via Kubernetes.
Over 1 year of demonstrated experience building LLM and GenAI tools.
Experience with LangChain, RAG, LLM fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
Proficiency in developing machine learning or LLM-based AI solutions such as RAG or Autogen.
Ability to solve complex data problems and develop cross-functional solutions.
Understanding of AI agent architecture and prompt engineering.
Strong understanding of SDLC lifecycle and managing cloud deployments of containers.
Educational background in STEM or equivalent work experience.
