About the Role

The Videographer at the University of South Carolina Aiken is responsible for capturing and producing high-quality video and photography content that aligns with the university's strategic goals. This role emphasizes storytelling and project management to create engaging content that enhances the university's reputation and drives audience engagement, serving under the guidance of the university's senior videographer.

Key Responsibilities

Capture and produce high-quality video and photography content.
Support the strategic needs of the university through compelling video content and storytelling.
Create content for various audiences to build awareness and drive engagement.
Serve as project manager for creative video and photo projects, providing scripting, timelines, and talent management support and direction.
Deliver compelling and creative solutions for digital communications. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a job related field.
One or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Skilled with video and photography production.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a student-centered environment.
Self-starter with strong project management skills.
Demonstrate expertise in storytelling and project management.
