Job Description

About the Role

Synchrony has an immediate opportunity for an experienced client marketing leader to help grow partner and client relationships within the Cosmetic industry of Health and Wellness. This role involves leveraging B2B2C and B2B marketing strategies to prioritize, acquire, launch, and grow relationships, working closely with sales, analytics, and internal teams to drive practice acquisition, engagement, and usage of the CareCredit credit card at client locations. The leader will interface with senior marketing leadership and will be responsible for creating and delivering marketing plans, business reviews, and business development pitches, with a focus on innovation and client growth in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Large Clients, Partners and Association relationships to ensure mutually agreed upon goals and business objectives are reached.
  • Manage and mentor marketing professionals directly and cross-functionally, identifying and growing talent within the organization.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies and client-specific marketing plans aligned with client and Synchrony goals.
  • Leverage consultative selling to listen and build marketing programs based on clients' goals and needs.
  • Innovate new ideas based on client needs and sell through concepts and ideas to drive growth for both the client and Synchrony.
  • Build and maintain consumer B2B2C and employee asset libraries for usage with clients, including display ads, social posts, web assets, POS materials, videos, emails, etc.
  • Leverage segmentation to drive efficiencies and levels of support, including developing targeted employee campaigns.
  • Launch new clients in collaboration with Client Success and New Client Implementation teams.
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations for business reviews, client pitches, and internal stakeholder updates.
  • Develop marketing strategies to drive penetration toward goals, collaborating with consumer and cardholder teams.
  • Obtain testimonials and feedback from clients and partners to leverage within growth strategies.
  • Work closely with analytics to identify opportunities based on growth trends, penetration, and financial performance.
  • Analyze research and data to inform strategies and identify intelligence gaps.
  • Develop content programs based on industry and client needs, including webinars, videos, case studies, and white papers.
  • Lead advertising agencies to implement marketing campaigns and manage budgets including forecasting and tracking.
  • Partner with paid and earned media teams to focus on channels that drive growth.
  • Perform other duties and lead strategic projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or high school diploma with 10+ years of marketing experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in client marketing leadership, including innovating and executing multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • 5+ years of B2B and B2B2C marketing experience, partnering with creative agencies.
  • 2+ years of consumer marketing experience.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience, either with direct reports or cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%.
  • Strong client management skills and understanding of paid digital, social media, DTC, and consumer marketing.

  • MBA.
  • DTC or consumer marketing experience with strong understanding of paid digital and social channels.
  • Client influencing and management experience.
  • Experience with consumer credit offers and B2B2C marketing programs.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry or Cosmetic, Vision, Audiology, and/or Wellness healthcare industries.
  • Strong marketing strategy development and execution skills, including managing creative agencies and research partners.
  • Ability to develop executive-level presentations independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible, high energy, self-starter with a focus on action.
  • Strong analytics background to set strategy and measure performance.
  • Experience with multi-channel marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of marketing experience if no degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
