About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-facing web applications using modern frontend languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Build and maintain server-side application logic using languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP, and manage database interactions with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other database systems.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect frontend and backend components, ensuring smooth data flow and communication between different parts of the application.
• Design, implement, and manage databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
• Use Git and other version control systems to track code changes and collaborate with other team developers.
• Automate deployment processes, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure the scalability and reliability of applications through CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement security best practices to protect the application from vulnerabilities, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and performance issues in the application, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to improve development practices continuously.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of CSS, Sass, and CSS architecture.
• Experience building and working with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience with JS and UI testing and code analysis frameworks like Mocha, Istanbul, Enzyme, ESLint.
• Knowledge and experience of working on DevOps tools & GitHub/Jenkins.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, architecture, and UX research teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development, with expertise in frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
• Proficiency in database design and SQL, with experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with RESTful API design and micro-services architecture.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of .NET programming experience (C# preferred).
• Experience with Python/Bash/Puppet in an on-prem environment with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Understanding of load balancing, caching, and clustering technologies.
• Minimum 2 years of service management experience and 5 years of overall work experience.
• ITIL Foundations certification required.
• Proficient in mapping business rules to processes and eliciting, interpreting, and analyzing functional and technical requirement documents.

• ServiceNow Enterprise ITSM software experience.
• ServiceNow administrative training.
• ITIL Intermediate certifications.
• ITIL Expert certification.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduates in Computer Science background preferred.
• Education: BA or BS or equivalent experience.
