About the Role

Our IT Automation client is searching for a Website Marketing Manager to join their team. This role is crucial for enhancing online presence, optimizing user experience, and managing content updates across multiple websites. The position is based in Alpharetta, GA, with a hybrid work arrangement, and is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage content/page creation, maintenance, and updates of multiple website properties globally.
  • Develop landing pages to support campaign design.
  • Update and maintain translations in multiple languages.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategies to optimize the website for user engagement, conversion, and overall performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in website marketing to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the relationship with external web agency resources for website development and keep project timelines on track.
  • Optimize search engine optimization (SEO) efforts, including updates to title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and alt text, to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement and optimize search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Implement strategies for conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, and user journey optimization, including the development of landing pages for persona marketing.
  • Utilize web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Plausible, Search Console, Hubspot, etc) to track and analyze website performance, user behavior, and key metrics.
  • Conduct website audits and prepare regular reports on website analytics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Website Marketing Manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience working with and through marketing agencies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and website analytics.
  • Expert-level proficiency in web content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience with Typo3 and/or Shopware is a big plus.
  • Experience using HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, SEMrush.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, technology, or related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Typo3 and/or Shopware.
  • Experience using HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
