About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and initiative in a team environment.
• Ensures application of systems thinking principles for software design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Develops prototypes and solutions leveraging a diverse range of technology.
• Leads the resolution of complex problems.
• Mentors development of less senior team members.
• Provides the necessary documentation to support the software Development Life Cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
• Experience with advanced SQL queries, data extractions, data mapping from source to target, data transformation, data loading in target systems, and data validation.
• Experience developing scripts for archiving, purging, incident generation, and error correction.
• Experience with TOAD, Ab Initio ETL development, design, coding, testing, and deployment of software.
• Experience mentoring others in less senior roles.
• Experience leading the resolution of complex problems.
• Experience applying modern principles, methodologies, tools, and systemic processes to support the launch of new business capabilities.
• Experience providing documentation to support the software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience developing prototypes and solutions leveraging a diverse range of technologies.
• Position can telecommute from home from any location in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (optional).
