About the Role

The 2025 Intern Conversion - 2026 FT: Product Manager III role involves supporting data analytics, driving customer and client needs, contributing to product roadmaps and development, shaping product vision and strategy, influencing stakeholder consensus, understanding technology landscapes, and demonstrating domain expertise. Key Responsibilities

  • Support data analytics for a product feature by collecting and evaluating data such as acquisition cost, conversion rate, active users, feature usage, user churn, net promoter score, satisfaction, and lifetime value.
  • Understand critical customer needs and preferences by analyzing user feedback and identifying process improvements to enhance customer experiences.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps by assisting in identifying product requirements, prioritizing features, and supporting product rollout and scaling.
  • Comprehend and help solve customer problems using First Principles thinking, hypothesis framing, and rapid prototyping methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, build professional networks, articulate results and recommendations, and actively listen to diverse technical perspectives.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of technology landscapes, industry trends, and enterprise systems, and support innovation initiatives.
  • Coordinate activities with stakeholders, support plans to meet business needs, and promote continuous learning and improvement.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for team members, ensuring compliance with policies and fostering a culture of respect and integrity.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and partners, work collaboratively, and motivate teams to achieve objectives.
  • Act with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics, supporting Walmart’s values, and fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace.
  • Deliver business results with a customer-first mindset, leveraging data and insights to inform strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in product management.
  • Or 5 years' experience in product management or related area.
  • Knowledge of product and feature analytics, data analysis tools, research, documentation procedures, and industry practices.
  • Understanding of customer and business problems, design thinking, journey mapping, and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with product roadmap development, project management techniques, Agile methodologies, MVP creation, and product development lifecycles.
  • Knowledge of problem formulation, hypothesis framing, business strategies, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and build consensus.
  • Basic understanding of technology landscapes, enterprise systems, and emerging industry trends.
  • Awareness of domain-specific methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities, support plans, and promote continuous learning.
  • Strong ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to Walmart’s values.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area.
  • Experience working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
  • Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and supporting an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 5 years' experience in product management or related area.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area.
  • Preferred: Experience with consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
