The U.S. Bank Chief Product Office is seeking a product manager for our growing digital assets offering our Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (WCIB) division. The product manager - digital assets covers all aspects of product management for the U.S. Bank fund and institutional offering globally as it relates to cryptocurrency, asset tokenization, and related technologies, working closely with senior product management and various teams to advance the offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze and interpret business data using various techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Activate the connective tissue between U.S. Bank, customer experience, digital, technology, and business line strategy to identify and prioritize product / portfolio opportunities, and establish the product vision, charter and roadmap.
  • Define product outcomes and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to prioritize Features/Epics and break down work into actionable steps for product discovery, design, development, and delivery.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle and drive the product roadmap leveraging OKRs.
  • Create the product in conjunction with agile, experience design, technology, and risk partners to achieve business and customer outcomes.
  • Understand and care for the technical features, debt reduction, and modernization of technical products, especially for technical products related to digital assets and cryptocurrency custody.
  • Oversee the evaluation of digital assets offerings vis-à-vis market trends, competitors, vendors, and regulatory factors, and work with stakeholders to prioritize improvements or new products.
  • Assist business development teams in creating and maintaining marketing materials, sell sheets, and thought leadership content.

Requirements

  • Product Management experience.
  • Deep understanding of the digital assets ecosystem, including cryptocurrency, asset tokenization, and related technology.
  • Ability to analyze business data and interpret technical features of software products.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, processes, tools, and risk management techniques.
  • Ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results using business metrics and KPIs.
  • Experience in the financial services industry and/or product management sector, ideally with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong customer centricity and ability to implement strategies that ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Understanding of traditional asset servicing for fund and institutional clients.

  • Expertise on the interdependencies among product model system elements that help and hinder performance.
  • Ability to anticipate shifting market priorities and customer needs.
  • Knowledge of product PnL, product strategy, vision and planning, product discovery, and development.
  • Experience with channel management, adoption, customer experience research, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Familiarity with marketing, analytics, and performance measurement.
  • Deep understanding of the digital assets ecosystem and related technology.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in the financial services industry and/or product management sector.
