About the Role

The Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO) team is seeking applicants for the Portfolio Resource Forecasting intern position. The internship lasts up to 12 weeks and involves working on projects related to resource demand identification, validation, and process support to ensure the efficient and ethical conduct of clinical trials across GCTO. Interns will develop tools, support algorithmic demand models, generate process maps, and gain exposure to clinical research and drug development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop tools to support resource forecasting, visualization and/or process automation
Use Python, SQL or PowerBI to create new data processes, views, or dashboards
Provide support for development of algorithmic demand models
Provide support for Project Cost Estimates
Generate process maps and/or performance metrics
Assist organizational efforts to simplify and standardize global processes
Develop effective communications
Deliver a capstone presentation illustrating internship objectives and activities

Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time BS/BA degree program in a business, computer technology, mathematics or science related discipline
Knowledge of Python, SQL, or PowerBI is a plus
Candidates must be available to work full-time for up to 12 weeks beginning in May or June of 2026
Candidates must have completed at least 2 years of collegiate study by June of 2026
