About the Role

SEEL (Solutions for Energy Efficient Logistics) is one of the fastest growing firms in the energy waste reduction movement, providing holistic residential and commercial program management solutions for utility and municipal clients throughout the country. The role of Direct to Customer (D2C) Account Manager involves acting as a liaison between SEEL and contractors, managing relationships to ensure a successful customer journey, and providing energy industry-specific insights and guidance to HVAC, Weatherization, and specialty contractors to meet program objectives. This position ensures contractors are properly onboarded, follow program guidelines, and maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Program Manager to ensure contractor and client needs and program deliverables are met.
  • Aid existing and newly onboarded program contractors in the energy industry to meet program objectives.
  • Identify and assist with onboarding of new program contractors.
  • Work closely with the D2C Project Specialist to ensure program customers receive communications throughout their journey.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager on contract renewals as they come up.
  • Proactively identify at-risk contractor relationships and develop plans to avoid contract termination in partnership with operational teams.
  • Ensure contractors' invoices are processed in a timely manner and payment expectations are achieved.
  • Represent the program at events to find program participant leads.
  • Manage the program portal and account verifications as customers' work is distributed.
  • Create reports on investment activity and performance.
  • Maintain various back-end applications.
  • Influence teams with no direct oversight to achieve common goals and support company strategic initiatives.
  • Establish metrics to ensure strategies align with overall program goals.
  • Prospect potential program participants and conduct eligibility audits.

Requirements

  • Account Management work experience (at least 2 years).
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Proven ability to plan, direct, organize, and manage partner relationships to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Ability to prioritize activities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, plan solutions, and work within existing structures.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Excel for data management and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to contractor locations as needed.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Social Service, Communications, Business, or a related area.
  • Experience working with HVAC, Weatherization, and/or specialty contractors.
  • Knowledge of weatherization and energy efficiency industry.
  • Six Sigma or demonstrated continuous improvement knowledge.
