About the Role

The Account Manager, Immunology is responsible for achieving or exceeding Galderma's portfolio sales and executing strategic objectives across high-valued customer segments in South Texas, including dermatologists, pharmacies, integrated health networks, and professional organizations. The role involves promoting Galderma's prescription dermatology biologic and consumer product portfolio, requiring advanced clinical, operational, and financial commercial selling skills. Galderma is a dermatology-focused company dedicated to advancing skin health through innovative, science-based products and fostering a diverse, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain expertise in brand and segment strategy, providing expert product knowledge.
  • Promote and generate demand for prescription products in a competitive market, including launching new products.
  • Execute integrated commercial selling strategies utilizing understanding of contracting and access platforms.
  • Develop cross-functional account plans to drive penetration, retention, and growth of the portfolio for key accounts.
  • Analyze account and provider objectives to align market, patient access, and reimbursement functions to meet business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, utilizing business analytics and customer insights to support solutions.
  • Oversee relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the area.
  • Implement customer engagement initiatives to strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned contacts in Galderma's commercial speaker bureau.
  • Plan, organize, and execute field-based activities in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Five or more years of outside sales experience with variable commission potential.
  • At least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in dermatological or medical sales.
  • Previous account management experience.
  • Experience in business-to-business sales and as a sales generalist.
  • Strong track record of consistent performance success.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical, industry, and product-related information professionally.
  • High level of integrity, motivation, and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to sell assertively and differentiate products to increase utilization.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal functions such as market and patient access, and reimbursement teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Strategic thinking with a long-term vision.
  • Relationship management and closing skills, adaptable to various audiences.
  • Learning agility, resilience, persistence, and willingness to take risks.
  • Creative, resourceful, and solution-oriented.
  • Proficiency with complex sales data, call reporting software, MS Office, and sales reporting applications.

  • Experience with complex sales data and reporting software.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or dermatology industry beyond minimum requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience in dermatology or medical sales.
