Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the implementation of strategic and tactical sales account plans.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the company's entire product suite and may have in-depth knowledge of a subset of products and/or services.
  • Provides accurate weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
  • Develops and manages relationships with new and existing customers to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, attain additional business, and retain revenue.
  • Develops action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall customer spend.
  • Identifies, develops, negotiates, and closes new sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales and revenue quotas.
  • Maintains accurate sales and revenue forecasts and manages quota funnels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience working for a region/global telecom provider, IT, or cloud service provider.
  • Desire and ability to cold call Lumen partners and customers daily to drive revenue.
  • Experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques (including SASE, SDWAN, DDoS, and cybersecurity solutions).
  • Strong background in funnel management (Salesforce) with attention to detail.
  • Experience in solution selling IP, data, voice, and video network services.
  • Experience in strategic, technical, and business communications application sales.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in selling to close.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional.
  • Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Co-Pilot, and PowerPoint.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with solution selling in cybersecurity and network services.
  • Experience working in a multi-regional or global sales environment.

Qualifications

  • Relevant industry experience of 5+ years.
