About the Role

The Advertising Assistant role involves developing and refining client marketing strategies, managing media plans, and supporting advertising projects within a university setting. The position requires collaboration with the Executive Director for Advertising Strategy and focuses on increasing sales revenue, consumer base, and profitability through effective advertising and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Executive Director for Advertising Strategy to manage media plans for various internal clients at the university.
  • Perform sales demonstrations, identifying key service features for consumers.
  • Responsible for all Advertising Department payments and reconciliation.
  • Ensure each account meets company merchandising standards.
  • Ensure completed advertising projects are archived properly per Advertising SOP.
  • Educate and excite customers about the client’s leading advertising portfolio of products/services.
  • Analyze and understand customer needs and trends to help grow profitability, increase sales revenue, and consumer base.

Requirements

  • Experience or skills in advertising and sales.
  • Ability to develop and refine marketing strategies.
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of media planning and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and market trends.
